Our university preparation services provide a suite of valuable resources designed to help students succeed. Our two high school enrichment courses are structured to develop the skills needed to thrive in both our University Preparation Course and in university settings. Additionally, we offer tutoring for University Application Assistance and our highly sought-after University Preparation Course. This course aims to bolster students’ communication skills, critical thinking, and understanding of influential theorists and theoretical frameworks in various disciplines. Through engaging activities like lectures, discussions, and essay writing, students gain a profound comprehension of intellectual tools and methodologies, enabling them to craft outstanding research projects and interdisciplinary essays.
The academic year is divided into six terms, each with a specific disciplinary focus. The first three terms explore significant historical movements and concepts that have shaped the Western World. Students will explore these ideas through a wide selection of primary, professional, and academic sources using a variety of visual mediums. In the following three terms, students apply these concepts to real-world issues through their writing and presentations. The topics we cover include, Essential Theories in the Social Sciences, Language Arts, Applied Critical Thinking/Practical Philosophy, 21st-century Science and Technology, Conspiracy Theories/Paradigms, and Physics and Cosmology. Students are encouraged to integrate these theories into their high school essays and assignments as part of the Knowledge Works Learning program. The goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills to excel in their academic pursuits and beyond.
