University Preparation Course (Grade 12) – Interdisciplinary
Our University Preparation Course is a proven path to success. It enhances students’ writing, research, problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking skills, leading to improved academic performance in high school and greater confidence in university studies. The focus is on refining students’ organization, communication, presentation, and writing abilities, improving grades and fostering self-assurance. We achieve this by teaching students how to plan, analyze, and complete in-depth research while exposing them to various university academic disciplines. As a result, our approach equips students to make well-informed decisions about their program and university choices, facilitating a successful transition into higher education. Graduates of the University Preparation program consistently report significant success in meeting the challenges of university education.

University Application Assistance
Application writing and interviews are often the deciding components in gaining acceptance to top universities. Indeed, those who have received scholarships and entrance into the highest-rated universities (including the Ivy Leagues) credit their entrance essays, interviews, and non-academic experience as the most important factors in their being granted admittance.
Another important piece of information to consider is that too many students across Canada are applying to universities with averages in the upper 80’s and 90’s. The problem is that these students cannot all be allowed to enter the best university programs, as space is limited. Moreover, in the minds of University Administrators, many of these high marks are overinflated, so they cannot be trusted. A partial explanation for the massive increase in marks over the last 10 years can be partially explained by a well-recognized 20% subjective variation in how students are marked within different schools and by different teachers. Additionally, administrators (and entrance committee adjudicators) are also aware of the pressure exerted by students and parents to award higher marks to students in Grade 12 to assist them in gaining entrance into top universities.
Over the years, I have helped over 500 students get into their program of choice. Amongst my students are many scholarship winners, including 2 Schulich Scholars and 2 Chancellor Scholars. In total my students have been granted well over a million dollars combined.
