    Jordan is an excellent educator. During one-on-one sessions, he helped my son with developing critical thinking skills.     Being well-versed in several academic fields, Dr. Singer tied together topics from a broad range of disciplines to develop my analytical skills and insights concerning writing and engineering. In class, I was exposed to and later tasked with analyzing literary works, which would serve as a backdrop to our discussions of current world events. While doing so, Dr. Singer provided opportunities for me to engage in creative and analytical writing to foster rigorous attention to written detail that I continue to leverage today. Dr. Singer simultaneously honed my argumentative skills and understanding of pervasive cross-disciplinary topics by dissecting essays covering subjects such as Behaviorism, Metaphysics, and the increasing influence of AI on society. I consulted Dr. Singer about the university application process. I was given excellent guidance on the requirements and the prerequisite fulfillments. As a result, I successfully navigated the tasks while being aware of the criteria for each component.

    Our son was a student in Dr. Singer’s program, during which he was introduced to several
    literary and academic works that were used as a springboard to develop his writing skills
    in preparation for the university application process. The assignments given by Dr. Singer
    served to bridge multiple areas of research while in parallel developing our son’s intuition
    for the standards required in written and verbal presentation for university and beyond.
    We are extremely grateful for Dr. Singer’s consultations which involved a walkthrough of
    the requirements necessary for the university application.

    Jordan was a wonderful teacher and motivator throughout my entire application process. Through multiple meetings and back-and-forth online interactions, Jordan worked with me to find strategies to best represent my stories. Prior to coming to Jordan, applications were very stressful, and I felt as if I didn’t even know where to start. However, through Jordan’s help, I was able to navigate each application and the various components that came with it.

    Throughout the entire process, Jordan encouraged me to keep working towards my goal by reminding me of what I was working toward and providing positive feedback. Since then, I have completed my second year of nursing school and founded my own national research project, which is set to be published later this year. Jordan has extensive knowledge in each aspect of applications and was able to navigate me through each one. Regarding my Casper test, Jordan was able to go through questions with me, teach me about the components that graders were looking for in the answers, and ensure I was prepared for the test. Jordan used technology to aid my learning by providing answers through emails and meeting virtually when meeting in person was not a possibility. Throughout this whole process, Jordan taught me about various components of university-level writing, how to approach various questions, and encouraged me to always reach higher; he has been a pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend him to anyone undergoing application processes.

    I had a wonderful teacher–Jordan Singer – who could even make grammar interesting. I never wanted to miss a class. I struggled most with essay writing, but I went from a C to an A student under my teacher’s guidance. The extensive editing processes really helped identify my weaknesses. More importantly, it taught me how to correct my mistakes. Additionally, I was exposed to different types of essay writing expected of university students. This made the transition to university much easier. The selection of books we read throughout the year was very thought-provoking. Class discussion contributed to my understanding of the material and often shed light on deeper meanings hidden in the text. Even though the level of comprehension and writing skills may vary between students in the class, I felt respected and encouraged to share my ideas. My teacher always spoke to students the way he would to a colleague. This may seem trivial, but it built my confidence and taught me to communicate my ideas eloquently. I’m thankful to have enrolled in the class, which helped me improve my written, analytical, and communication skills.
