Dr. Jordan Singer is an incredible professional. I was privileged to be Jordan’s student for four consecutive years as a high school student. Jordan has a great personality and teaching approach and prioritizes adjusting his teaching style to suit his students. As someone who always needed more clarification, Jordan would never make me feel like I needed to be better or to grasp something he was teaching quickly enough. He always made sure to find a way to explain it differently and used a plethora of examples until I was comfortable with the new content. Jordan was always very informed about the school curriculum and knew exactly what my teachers were looking for in the assignments. While helping me with various tasks, Jordan always taught me to find excellent resources online regarding research papers or sources with valid and up-to-date information. His empathy makes Jordan one of the best teachers I have had in my life thus far. He can understand his students and their needs, and he also understands that sometimes life happens, and there can be days when you may need extra support, motivation, and words of encouragement, which Jordan never failed to provide me with. Jordan played a crucial role in my life and still does. He was the one who prepared me for university and helped me achieve my dream of attending a university in the States. I am proud to say that his teaching has transformed my writing skills, and as a result, I have never earned a grade below an A in any of my university-level writing classes. The foundation Jordan instilled in me has helped me to believe in myself and my language abilities. I give a lot of credit to Jordan for teaching me how to put my thoughts into words, and I wholeheartedly believe that he is the type of teacher and mentor every child and student deserves in their life.
