I am currently a student at Queen’s University in the Arts Concurrent Education program. My program accepts around 100 students per year and requires students to have a 90+ average and an array of extracurricular activities related to teaching. Under Jordan Singer’s professional guidance and expertise in my university preparation class, I have honed various essential skills necessary to excel in university.

Jordan is a highly intelligent, creative and patient teacher. He has helped senior students develop a wide range of important skills necessary for university, including conducting proper academic research, writing effective theses, clear essays, public speaking and critical thinking skills through discussion. In addition, weekly vocabulary quizzes and grammar lessons dramatically improved my reading and writing skills. Most importantly, Jordan has been the catalyst to fueling my interest in psychological studies as he constantly finds creative ways to incorporate current events, socio-political issues, psychology, sociology, and philosophy into all lessons. Jordan’s lessons are always engaging as he effectively uses technology and media resources to encourage his students to formulate supported opinions during class discussions.
